Adobe is like Microsoft. Just because they are famous and were once the best software available they don't put any effort into their software. All they do is repacking and relabeling the same load of shit with a couple "updates" for which you should pay 500$ each time. All they do is repacking and relabeling the same load of shit with a couple "updates" for which you should pay 500$ each time. Disregarding the ineffective use of resource they got bugs needed to fix. For example in Dreamweaver where the whole program freezes for updating to remote server.
And how comes that some "Portable Adobe Softwares" e.g. Photoshop CS3 is only 70mb, while the fully installed version is 1.7GB?

I want FreeHand back! That is reason enough for me to hate Adobe. Illustrator is pants, I want to be able to do my job and stop being held back by an ignorant software company. I won't spend any more money with these people and I don't care if I don't own the latest version of CS. It's not worth the money!

ADOBE SUCKS! I can prove I paid for this product but because the registration number on the package is obscured Adobe claims to have no records matching my purchase with any software package. Also, BTW, their CRM sucks big time. But that's a separate issue. « less

Macromedia was making great progress with Dreamweaver and Flash. Adobe made things more expensive and way less user friendly. Even their crown jewel, Photoshop is getting more difficult to use. Oh boy do they suck!!! I purchased it via my company and a email arrives saying I can download it. I get to the site and the site requires a serial number. I call user support and after hanging on the phone for 30 minutes, I am given a serial number that allows me to install it. I purchased it via my company and a email arrives saying I can download it. I get to the site and the site requires a serial number. I call user support and after hanging on the phone for 30 minutes, I am given a serial number that allows me to install it.

Later in the same day, I have a technical question, so I call user support again. After one hour the rep asks for my serial number. Guess what, it's not the correct one. I get passed to a second operator, who turns out to be the wrong one who passes me to a third.

Finally they tell me that I need a service contact to answer my question on how to use their darn product.

All in all it has taken me over 2 hours, and I still have not had my simple question answered. I'm hanging on the phone even now.

Flash CS4 sucks. I’m taking a tutorial from a book (Adobe Classroom in a book), followed it step by step and I still can’t get action script to work. I can’t believe they leave you no choice but to learn action script. Adobe sucks because they destroy artist/designer friendly applications in favor of programmer savvy applications.
