They seem to hate their customers!
I hate American Airlines so fiercely, it hurts! There are so many reasons, it's difficult to put into words... But I'll try. American Airlines has one of the most abysmal customer service department I have ever encountered. Their frequent flyer policies are horrible, their rude stewardesses make you feel like your are a bother, American Air practices slimmy underhanded ticketing (they charge you nearly double for a flight on Alaska Air if they book it but if you go directly to the Alaska Air, you get a significantly better price; while American will have a different flight number for essentially the same flight to trick you and they have so many fees for every possible scenario,it's dizzying! They behave like slimmy scumbags! They lose your bags and give you attitude about it, FF miles are fairly worthless now, their employess treat you like shit, and when you need to speak to someone, they put you on hold forever (example: I've been on the phone now, on hold, for 23 minutes and 49 seconds). These are just a few of the reasons I hate AmericanAirlines. If I actually took time to list all of the grievances, I would need several hours to point out all of their failures.
