BA bed bugs and terrible customer service
I got eaten by bed bugs on a flight from New York to London. They took 6 weeks to respond to my complaint, and offered me no compensation apart from 5,000 air miles. I rejected them. I travel the world for work, so do about 10,000 air miles a month so this is hardly worth the time it took me to read it. The biggest kick in the teeth was the phrase: "I am grateful you gave me the opportunity to look into this for you.". Basically they did not believe me (I have photos and doctors certificates), so I have forwarded this to a tabloid and vowed never to fly with this rubbish airline again. I ended the note with: "Thanks for making it so very easy to never want to fly with you again." I have been so loyal to these clowns for so many years.... waste of time.
