Have missed important interviews at the European Commission because of BA flight delays and mishandled baggage in December 2007 and foolish enough to fly with BA again on 16th December 2010 as was denied boarding a BA flight because 2 mins late to pass security at Heathrow Terminal 5 - reason being because someone from BAA wanted to try out a new security procedure on my hand luggage and lost my place in the queue...had tried to explain the situation to two BA managers who simply could not care less and blamed me for not passing security in time....other people working at the airport referred to this situation as being "double standards". i.e, managers do not treat all passengers fairly and consistenbtly when they have the discretion to take special action to enable a passanger to board a flight if late...the flight was leaving at 9.50am and I was at security at 9.10am and should not have had a problem getting on this flight but BA clearly did not agree....

BA Executive Club flight "rewards" even where there had been a part cash payment cannot be amended in any manner less than 24 hours before your flight and with a return flight, you also lose the the return flight if you cannot get on the outgoing flight with BA....then BA Customer Relations will put you through to their grizzly Sales Department to try to sell you a new return flight at inflated prices having ruthlessly ripped you off your Executive Club loyalty reward....Will actively seek to avoid BA in the future at all costs. Would not bother clocking up loyalty airmiles for BA Executive Club with such a third rate airline that really could not care less about its customers.
