I really dislike the customer service for this
I really dislike the customer service for this company. For the US the only way you can contact them is via fax (who has a fax in their home these days?) or email. Neither of which seem to get dealt with with any urgency at all. This is a real shame as to date my personal experience of flying with BA has always been great, the cabin crew always seem much nicer and more professional than other airlines. When I have tried calling in exasperation I get either sent to a call center in S Africa or India and the operatives only seem to be there to be a warm body to be spoken do. The operatives have never been able to actually progress my case or give me an good advice (other than fax or email BA.) Even when I did get though to the US call center they were worse - it sounds like they really don't give a toss about your issue and I complained about this earlier on the year. Nothing chagned. What a shame. Even though I enjoy the experience on board I don't think I'll be flying with them again. The customer services issue has happened once too many for me now. Whatever highly paid exec runs their customer service seems to have failed in instilling a company culture in its customer support division that the customer is doing the company a favour by giving them their business often paying hundreds of $, only to be treated poorly.
