He helped to cut financial regulation and hired unqualified people as regulators, knowing that they would never question authority. George Bush used hate to draw people to his presidency, although I honestly think he only cared about the money. For his re-election all of a sudden gay marriage became an issue for George W, as did other conservative issues. The second he was in power again, those issues dropped of his radar and he immediately tried to hand the entire Social Security program over to his friends on Wall Street. Face facts conservatives, you flat out got conned by this flim-flam man.
