Trashy-cyber-bully website w/no sense of the web!
IMDB has zero interest in the USERS or the people that actually generate the money for the company. It's almost as if IMDB think of its own USERS as stupid -- Just read some of the disclaimers they make about how they create the weighted average for RATING films. They essentially state that the system they use is perfect and not bother them with your dumb thoughts. It sounds like the argument you'd expect from a cranky condescending customer service representative -- Not from a global entertainment data company. It's like a bitchy argument that would never hold in a court room or even a debate class and it is THIS very tone that represents IMDB and makes them a trashy low grade website. If you read the finer print you will discover that IMDB reaches inside of your computer and snags your identity. They know your IP address and they are gathering data and saving it every time you log on. This info they take from you…(IMDB is now owned by AMAZON.com) makes them a lot of money. They sell it to companies like Netflix. Try and turn off your cookies and you will note that you cant navigate the site very well -- That's because they are fascists. You either give them all of your shit or they don't let you see shit. They pretend to be all about the DATA and keeping it available to the world but it's more about them getting YOUR data. They are owned by Amazon and have no mission statement. Unlike a company like Google, IMDB has no pulse on the vibe of the internet. The attitude is condescending, capitalistic and promotes a very un cool cyber bullying style that makes for a very trashy website that is unpleasant and unreliable to visit. They deny users rights to delete, change, add or communicate. The company has full access to the website and manipulates what will be seen. They invade accounts and will delete content if they wish. The data is often inaccurate and often enough is not even data at all. It's a fascist monopoly that wants to own everyone's thoughts and feelings on films and entertainment and make money from it and mostly -- They don't give a damn about what you think. They could care less. They suck and they need to be taken down! This is the kind of company that screws up the very nature of the World Wide Web.
