I prefer MS Office but it's too expensive.

It's pretty buggy and the formatting sucks. I' use it for my CV and for some reason my CV is screwed up when I check it on my parent's MS Office. There is much more wrong with it I can't be bothered to put here (mainly because it's all been said).
What employer will take me seriously if my CV is all screwed up?
I use my parent's office to make it now.
