Why? Because 3g doesn't work in my house. I live downtown. Call Rogers, nobody can give me an answer on updates. I always get the runaround. Then they get rid of the system access fee(bonus right?) Wrong, they jack up plans by 5 bucks and add a $2.50 government fee. Wtf is up with that?

After 16 years of being with Rogers, they didn't even flinch when I talk about switching. No price adjustments. No hardware upgrades. The only think they did was did me advice on how to keep my number.
I get insane lag in games, and I often have to reload websites several times to get them to finish loading. This started to happen right after I negotiated a 15% discount for a 1 year commitment. The tech support just respond with "nothing is wrong." These guys are SCUM.
Rogers is the worst company I have ever delt with. They randomly kept putting things on my wireless bill that I never asked for. Been a Rogers customer x 11 years, with a shared plan with my spouse. Trying to get a hardware update but they want me to pay $100.00 for the blackberry bold 9700, my current rogers phone is 4 years old. I can get a better price if I was a new custormer anywhere else. Because despite being a 10 year customer, and not having upgraded my hardware since July 2008, they won't sell me an iPhone 4... my monthly contract is too low. Yes, and I like it like that. That's why I'm still a customer!!! But not for long anymore. I'm leaving.

Rogers Cable/Internet/Wireless are severely overpriced. Canada has one the most expensive charges for Internet and TV in the world. Rogers TV - compresses HD signals - almost looks like SD content. I bought my phone on May 17, 2010. Since then, I have had 1-2 bars of service, dropped calls, I can't receive some text messages, sometimes it says "no service". They charge too much, they put a bandwith cap on me for no reason, randomly cut my internet speed in half and blamed my router which was working fine for months. They are really the worst, money - hungry ISPs in Canada really suck..
Rogers enforces bandwidth cap on users. If you go over the cap, you get charged heavily. I was reduced from 60GB per month to 2GB/mo. http://bit.ly/cXtUwr This is theft, because there is no way to track my usage. At the beginning of the month I always seem to be capped. Rogers sucks.
Every time I call their customer service I receive poor service and a different explanation per person. Nobody there seems to have a clue. Rogers cancellation fees are outrageous !! I have had my phone for 1.5yrs (3yr term) and decided to go with Telus. Rogers charged/raped me a $400.00 Voice fee and then another $100.00 fee for my Blackberry data plan !! That's $500.00 !! That is insane !! I've never experienced a phone company like that. The information on the bill are unclear, they constatly harass me on the phone when my bill arrives and isn't paid, they are incredibly expensive and the only thing I actually like is when I tell them to leave me alone and they answer "yes Madam". Rogers is a great example of an old school company trying to hang on as long as possible in a new economy. Their lack of transparency, dirty profits, and failure to produce real value for consumers in the wireless market today is not sustainable. I have been in Canada only 2 months and the only negative thing I found so far is Rogers. Every contact with them - online, by phone or at the counter leaves me dissatisfied. The best was a call from customer service asking if I was happy!! And that cost me 50c on my Rogers prepaid account. What a jerk-off service provider.
