Another thing that struck me about Russians was their racism. Russians unfortunately look down on blacks and many hate crimes have been done to black people living in Russia. I myself saw two instances of verbal and physical violence on black students while studying in St. Petersburg. Of course, not all Russians are racists, many are not, but there does tend to be a kind of passivity to racial crimes, both by the police and by the population at large.

there is a reason for this.
in America, there has always been a black population living there from the start, and some racial problems continue there today! (although small) The thing is, most Russians have never met a black person in real life, and their opinions on them can be warped by others. say your a poor child living in Russia who doesnt know why their so poor. a teen comes up to you, a big kid that you admire, and he tells you. ''hey kid, you know why we're all living so shit? it's those fucking immigrants, theyre taking all of our jobs and cash.'' and that's where it all starts from.
believe me, after getting used to them, the racial crap will die down after a while.

At least we have never had 400 years of slavery and there have never been any KKK's and Aryan Brotherhoods here.

Though Russians are not WHITE?! They are SLAV. Not all Caucasians are White (e.g. Slav, Arab).
In Sweden, people who get cosmetic surgeries on their norse are ONLY Slavic and Arabic immigrants. WHITE (nordic, germanic) people got link-toned skin with well structured norse.
