Flight Canceled Never Notified

I booked 2 round trip tickets to Las Vegas 5 months in advance. I was told by a friend on the same flight that the flight was canceled. I was never notified by Spirit and I had to pay for 1 way tickets on another carrier because the earliest next flight was more than 12 hours later. They gave me vouchers that I'll never use though. I'm never flying on Spirit Airlines again. THeir customer services is all handled off-shore as well so enjoy complaining to an Indian with a thick accent named "Gary" or "Jeff" when you have a problem.
