I actually like Rush because he is the only character getting anywhere near any answers - why did the Ancients build Destiny and where is it going? I guess Brad Wright forgot that sci-fi fans like big stories and big theories not teeny tiny soap opera storylines that episode after episode lead to nothing. SG-1 keep going to bigger and bigger ideas exploring ideas from quantum physics to philosophy to religion to archeology to alien life! Comparatively SGU is as empty as the galaxy their big ships float in and like just third rock floating through an empty universe the people have nothing better to do that engross in petty drama and trivial love affairs.
