- it makes the simple things overly difficult
- it introduces terms and methods that are specific to the technology implementation
- it has a shockingly bad merge tool that I cannot swap out
- it throws up if the network has problems during an important operation
- it offers confusing lists of changes in the pending changes dialog
- it is slow
- it is not free
