thunderbird is overly complicated and doesnt work

can't manually create an email account. if thunderbird can't automatically detect the settings, it errors out. how idiotic is it that you can't enter server name, username, and password. it's a simple process overcomplicated with this email client. the one email account i was able to setup, it takes 15 minutes to sync email (imap). ditch this ugly program. bring back outlook express!
