Many of the TV network websites use Flash for their video streaming. I was also experiencing those dreadful lock ups / freezes / hangs on the commercials. I received a tip from a post on comodo forums that the Google Chrome browser has Flash built-in instead of it being a plugin / add-on (like in Internet Explorer). After using Google Chrome to view my video streams, my lock up problems stopped.
