Microsoft has conditioned all of us to accept poor product quality, corporate irresponsibility and that "send your money and shut the hell up" attitude.   It's proprietary and it's enormously stupid, mainly because of Digital Restrictions Management junk, *way* too much HDD I/O, and they go insane trying to make you use *their* software and *their* junk. Their software has to be Swiss cheese due to how many security holes it has. GNU/Linux is much better.

Especially when your boss has a presentation that he wants to put together yesterday and you can't find where the crap anything is because they've made a point of changing everything right down to the freaking menus and you are made to look like a total idiot at the freaking board meeting as happened with me during their last stupid major Windows Office upgrade.   it sucks 2 d core!! 100% money waste!! nothing actually req for daily use is inbuilt!! to put dat hav 2 buy dat also!! very unstable!! crashes regularly like alarm clock!!! linux os's r d best esp ubuntu and linux mint!! everything is out of the box and inbilt and most important all is given for free and all basic things are preinstalled!!!!

  Hard-coded UI and few options for the user to set things the way they are familiar with or the way they want i.e. forcing everyone to use a "RIBBON" and IE7/IE8 can't place ALL toobar items where you want or on the same ONE line etc. What an arrogant Micro$$$oft mentality.

  it usually takes any windows OS 3 steps to do what leopard OS does in 1. And every installation attempt with Windows is like rolling the dice for unexplained glitches and incompatibilities. So after about 3 months of using the damn OS is it like a mostly knocked out Jenga tower just waiting for something to break...
