I am a "i'll do it from scratch" - developer. This time, there simply was not enough time to do this, so i had to use some existing CMS. After trying out Joomla and Typo3, i continued searching - these were great, but not the great i was searching (Plus: I dont like the gpl.)
So i searched, and i found myself in heaven: This CMS has a nice software architecture, a solid and understandable way of modifying EVERY part of it (even if it takes 4-5 days to understand it in all ways!) and, the best of all: Everyone understands how it works (endusers). And you can deny the access to all parts they wont understand (dashboard functionality, one by one.).
I would have paid for it, and 1000$ would not be enough to describe the time it has saved me.
