Ebay sucks

They charge a ridiculous amount of fees to sell something on E-bay then they charge you AGAIN when you use PayPal... Talk about double dipping, not sure if E-Bay or the Gov't is a larger rip off... Must be why the CEO is running for govenor; she can dip even further into our pockets. Someone needs to come out with a better site & stop them from ripping sellers off. Come on Google make it happen.

1. Ebay suspended my friends powerseller account b/c her roomate was giving sellers less than 5 stars from A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT & it was on the same i.p address.

2. "Customer service" refused to let her speak to a supervisor.

3. Then customer service emailed her a warning for offensive language when she hung up without say "Bye".

4. When she called back to protest they told her, "Let's just move on." They refused to remove the warning even after she got them to review the call.

e-bay suckks because 70% of the sellers lie about the condition of their merchandise just to make a sale.Paypal just overcharged me $110 on my paypal charge card with bogus charges.E-bay forces you to get their credit card to buy on e-bay and then adds bogus charges up and above the item cost and postage.I tried to fix it on there website and spent a lot of time talking to India who tell me they can't help me and then say they will connect me to someone who can and i get reconnected back to the same phone line.e-bay and paypal are totally crooked.Do not give them your bank account number or you are forever screwed.

2. 5% of all eBay purchases are returns (if you are a seller) which can result in unexpected chargebacks at any time
3. Non-paying bidders happen 15% of the time.
4. They will fight tooth and nail to not refund sellers fee's that are credited when closing an account.
5. It takes 180 days to close an eBay account.
6. eBay does not protect their buyers from malicious feedback.
7. Policies are changed without proper notice which may negatively effect your buying or selling.
8. eBay customer service acts like a bunch of automotons, you can obviously tell they are reading from scripts. Rarely do you get to talk to someone who knows what they are doing.
9. eBay charges ridiculous fee's, uwpards of 5%, on top of that you pay paypal fee's of up to 10%. Add it up, its a lot.
10. They could care less about their sellers reputation.
11. There are hundreds of other alternative sites out there that charge much less and actually care about reoccurring customers.
12. if you haven't figured it out, eBay and paypal are in the sack together, always get a quote from usps.com first sometimes the shipping is ridiculously higher for no apparent reason.
13. Sellers can not leave negative feedback, even if it is just.
14. Even though you are an individual, you are expected to perform the legal functions of a business. One mistake on your policy can result in unwanted or unjust chargebacks/feeedback.

eBay hides bid history with bidder1, bidder2 in the UK whilst the USA get a 2 digit alias name like A***Z and now shill bidding is running wild so eBay whats the excuse for not having a ten digit alias name or did you not think we could work that one out.

Real talk eBay is damn garbage... Why? Because every time I list a new auction I get blessed with non paying buyers... and what can I do about it shit! The reason why I sell is to make some sort of income... and in return I always get played by young suckers who think eBay is some kind of entertainment toy. Can I leave negative feedback for these deadbeats... Hell no. I end up having to wait 7 days+ just to freaking get some of my fees back. Man... Can GOOGLE please make a online bidding website that can finally take eBay out of business!

Gosh, why do I hate eBay ... there are so many reasons. Most recently, eBay has made it literally impossible to contact them. They direct you to their help system, you scroll all the way through, can't find anything helpful, click the "contact us" button and it takes you back to their frickin' main help page again.

Second, eBay MAKES MONEY off of non-paying buyers. All of the listing (or insertion fees) for buy it now auctions are NOT refunded when buyers don't pay. They tell sellers to switch to "immediate payment required." Well, this excludes all buyers who use eChecks, requires buyers who want multiple items from you to stop and pay for EACH single item, and jacks up the final PayPal fees.

Thirdly, non-paying buyers just get a "wrist-slap" when they don't pay. Essentially nothing happens to them other than some nebulous "mark" on their account that doesn't mean anything. If eBay doesn't trust sellers to leave appropriate feedback about these non-paying buyers then they could automatically give negative feedback to buyers who don't pay.

Finally, sellers are required to ensure all items arrive for buyers -- even if the delivery confirmation proved the item arrived. I agree that buyers should be gauranteed receipt of items. However, eBay itself takes absolutely no risks regarding shipment and pushes it all on the sellers.

I hate Ebay. Mostly because of their shady sellers. Paypal is far worse than Ebay however.

The search feature sucks and it keeps getting worse. If you search for desktop computers, you can no longer choose brand and processor in the left navigation pane. You have to narrow the brand down in a previous page.

Ebay sucks I also think Myspace and Facebook suck its all about the money and not the users anymore. . So I created Wanderby.com its new. I just turned it on today its a beta right now still adding new things that users want. This site works like myspace and ebay as one but with out the ads and high fees. And all the crap.
