Neither artist or label benefits. People using Spotify instead of Itunes are killing music. The average payout per track to an artist from itunes is around 60p. From Spotify it is 0.000001p. Nobody is winning with Spotify apart from the owners and investors. If you care about music you would be wise to boycott it now.

They play the same ads ones over and over again - i wouldn't mind if it was a different ad each time. Also their ads are often louder than the songs I'm listening to, so it is very unpleasant to keep adjusting the volume. And it is way too expensive - I'd pay max £3/month..

It never ever works properly on my Mac. I have to reinstall every 2 or 3 days. Now it just hangs my computer, I can't even force quit it. It's so frustrating, that I'll have to give it up now. Spotify SUCKS.

They are right now trying to force everyone to buy and adding commercials between every song...the new strategy since they have realised that they won't get enough people paying....great businessminds!!!
