Just wait until they start investigating LEXUS. It's gonna get a lot worse. DO a Youtube search for Lexus Crash 911! Scary. Keep in mind, you can't just turn the engine off or switch to neutral. The system isn't set up like that.

Toyota has attempted to hide the fact that their products are extremely unsafe, and because of this, many people have been injured and killed. Even before this insane situation, I still cannot believe that any true American citizen would spend their hard earned money on any piece of crap made by a Japanese car company. GM, Ford, and Chrysler products are the ONLY cars I have ever had in my garage or driveway, and the quality and reliability has always been great. Unfortunately, many people have been brainwashed by Toyota marketing into a false sense of quality regarding the Toyota brand. When you compare the quality and appearance of GM, Ford, or Chrysler products to that of Toyota, I do not know why anyone in their right mind would choose to purchase a Toyota.

My friends have had good luck with pre year 2000 Toyotas but after all that has happend, Toyota = FAIL in my opinion.

Because its all bullshit from Toyota! Every time you buy one you are adding to the deficit eroding the American way of life and helping Japan become that much better! You are a traitor if you buy one. Keep buying foreign owned good and pretty soon the official language will be Chinese! You say it won't happen,ask Obama why he back off the arms deal to Taiwan,because the Chinese own us! We couldn't be defeated by a traditional war so other countries are doing it economically. Toyota Sucks because:

I have driven a Corolla, and a Dodge for the last four years. I have invested substantially more keeping the Toyota on the Road than I have on the Dodge. The Toyotra Dealer screwed me over when I signed the Lease, and I wont forget it-EVER!.

I was turning in my previous lease in 2006, and because I had had an accident with it (Echo) they claimed I owed them 5-G's. Now I did not have this kind of money and I really needed a Car so they slapped it onto the cost of this Lease. Then I fond out that a friend of mine was in a similar accidcent(same total cost to repair damage, and repaired BY Toyota) and Toyota didn't charge him a "**?%/"%$ Dime. I can't wait to tell them where to shove their Car, and I will certainly let them know I am off to pruchase a N.A. made Car.

This is a way they are getting back at us for dropping the bomb now who is dropping the bomb on us. Their commercial say moving forward it should say MOVING FORWARD FASTER THAN THEY SHOULD.

Toyotas head got too big, and so did the people that own them. All imports are like leaches that prey on American society. They have had a campaign of "WE BUILD BETTER STUFF THAN YOU DO" for years. They do not, actually they build crap for the most part. They dont write songs about Toyotas, do they.

Toyota builds overpriced underperforming vehicles that they won't stand behind - I know, I have one! They have far more problems than being advertised. The safety problems surfacing are just the tip of the iceberg. Toyota has ignored, and even covered up many of these issues. I have a relative that quit Toyota a few years ago (going to work for Honda) due to personal ethical concerns.

Toyota SUCKS! The trucks frames rust out, the cars engine's sludge up, the Acclerators hang open, and kill people, and the brakes don't work. Add to all that the fact that they've know about most of these problems BEFORE people died, and they did nothing about it.

I'll say it again: TOYOTA SUCKS!

They deliberately tried to cover up defective parts which resulted in multiple deaths.

What gets me is the people that get a job there really think they are great because they are called a team leader lol. They are not some type of celebrity but they are brainwashed robots. They aren't union either. I laugh when they do the exercises every morning.
