Usaa sucks

Rates went up after the credit cad bill went into affect. I never got a statement or written notification about any of this over $180.00 in charges, Navy federal has never done that i have a lot of family banking with them and seeing how i am being treated we are all closing our accounts next week and telling everyone else too as well and stick with navy federal instead!!

I've been with them for 20 years! 20! They were good once, and their customer service was excellent. Over the last 3-4 years I've seen the quality plummet. They're horrific. I moved overseas and now have nothing but problems. They recently blocked my Visa card because they said the person in the department store swiped my card too fast. WTF? Swiped a card too fast so they blocked it? They said the only way to keep this from happening is to remove ALL SECURITY, which means I then have no protection if somebody takes my card and maxes it out. USAA sucks! When I go home in the Summer I'm going to change banks. Any tips?

i can write a book about USAA on how they placfed me at fault, without calling me and without looking at my totalled car! they customer had a bumper scratch....f usaa forever!

worst customer service, rude obnoxious norfolk va staff, especially when it comes to filing claims, estimators look at damage and tell clients its not bad, you can fix it...and now you know the rest of the story. They never gave me any shit as long as I paid my premiums on time.

Their savings interest rates are so low (currently 0.6% vs 1.49% at Ally or 1.25% at ING Direct! They used to be better than other online banks -- now they are only slightly better than traditional banks. I held out for a long time hoping that the good rates would return, but with the New Year, I have finally transferred all my savings to another online bank. This is the first time that I felt the need to seek financial services outside of USAA. I guess I'll have to reevaluate my investment accounts and auto loan as well.

My car was broken into and over $4,000 worth of stuff was stolen and they only paid me $250! I had home and auto coverage with them and even had a $10,000 personal property rider! they don't cover electronics, so if someone breaks into your home and steals your tv, stereo and computer, you're screwed! They put a 1 percent deductible and over appraised my home for $500,000 so I had a $5,000 deductible. The personal property rider makes you choose one category of property and I chose jewelry. No jewelry was stolen, so I got screwed. The lady at Travelers laughed when I asked her if they covered electronics. Of Course they do! I hate USAA and am scarred by them.

I can't believe you all are taking so bad about USAA. As a USAA banker we have to remember they are non profit, you have to be pretty special to join USAA, and you don't have to bank with them if you don't want to. I married into USAA and didn't believe my huband when he said they are the BEST but after using them for 10yrs I believe it. If you thing they are so bad go somewhere else and see what you will GET. USAA is the BEST in the Market.

I was injured in an accident and the USAA agent strongarmed me into a lower settlement. His name was David BItnoff, and he was rude, insulting, and attempted to imply that I was doing something wrong by attempting to get my medical bills paid. Get a lawyer if your are dealing with David Bitnoff.

Commericals are AWFUL, why is a non profit wasting their money on advertising?

USAA's customer service is staffed by morons and idiots. I have nothing against stupidity, per se, but I strenuously object to the racist views held by morons & idiots. I spoke with several people at Navy Fed and they were much more sensitive to my plight as a low income military recruit.
