I hate any company that intentionally makes it difficult for you to contact them, and Oracle fall into that category. Today I noticed that (in true MS fassion) Hyper-V prevents VirtualBox from working, I wanted to tell Oracle, it was difficult, now I'm slating them here.

I'm used to slagging off Visual Studio but it's at least a billion times better than eclipse, absolutely nothing works out of the box you have to do everything manually and it's incredibly slow.

What!?! Do you actually use Visual Studio. It's soooooo slow, and that's when it's not crashing, which it does at least ten times a day. Try using any software that Microsoft didn't make and you will see that Micosoft's standard are simply unacceptable.

It takes hundreds on lines of code to achieve the simplest layouts. It provides compilation errors that don't even begin to point you in the right direction, if you copy and paste xaml from another project you will never get it to work. It's really slow (like everything Microsoft make) and it's just plain awful (like everything Microsoft make).

It's a piece of piss to use and let's you do whatever you want. Everything can be fixed by deleting your local files and doing a new get from the server and re-applying your changes.Team Foundation Server doesn't let you do anything even if you are the Administrator. I fucking hate TFS with such a passion. It doesn't even let you delete your own local files!!!

The most bug-ridden piece of software ever released! So often it just completely ignores what you tell it and it does whatever the hell it wants. Almost every error message you get says something like 'Operation failed', with absolutely no indication why. Almost all the problems originate from areas of the code where the developers have tried to do the user a favour and save them time somehow but have failed in spectacular fashion. I spend most of my time trying to work around bugs and since it's Microsoft it tries as hard as possible to make the software the user and the user the drone, i.e. it tells you what to do, not the other way around. Not the worst tool ever though, that title goes to TFS2010 without a doubt complete garbage.
