I own a Panasonic PV GS120 mini DV camera. I have been recording my kids growing up on the mini DV tapes. I have 25 or so tapes. Now I'd like to spend some time editing down the footage of my kids.

However, Panasonic did not bother to update the software for the GS 120. SO, now the camera will not interface with any PC running Windows 7.

Their customer service had no excuse for this. They actually tried to blame me, their customer, for not trying out the camera on Windows 7 before buying the computer.

So, I can record my kids on the Panasonic PV GS120, but I can't access the footage on a computer to edit it!
I might as well throw the freaking camera in the trash because I have to buy a new one anyway that interfaces with Windows 7.

Thanks Panasonic! (sarcasm)

I hate Panasonic! Panasonic are lazy a**holes who don't support their products on an operating system that millions of people use.
Losers. Losers. Losers.
Never buy Panasonic. They will be out of business in 5 years anyway because their TVs suck too.
