If you could see it from the inside, Intuit has openly discontinued "Customer Support" and replaced it with "Customer Delight."
The way "Customer Delight" is measured is by sales made by the (formerly) support agent. If the agent does not make their sales quota three months in a row, they are gone.
So if you call in and you can't get your support issue resolved, don't blame the agent. If they are in the US, they would love to help you. But if you are not buying something, then you are not helping them to keep their job and they have to move on to somebody else.
People that have been with Intuit 15 plus years suddenly disappeared - taking their product and accounting knowledge with them because they thought it was more important to help customers with the product and/or service they already paid for than it is to sell them more stuff.
BTW, take the pro-Intuit opinions and cut them in half. Employees are "encouraged" to find social media outlets and say nice things about Intuit.
