crappy cable signal always cuts out in the middle of favorite show in prime time, cable box/pvr is ancient technology, available channels change without notice, promised 40mbps getting 7mbps-15mbps, customer service is useless, slow internet speeds, inconsistent internet speeds, prices going up, service keeps getting worse, my local cable provider (Delta Cable) got bought by Eastlink and its the only provider in our city, all the cities around us have a choice between Rogers, Shaw, or the local phone co. (Telus) On my street, I can't get Telus, Shaw, Rogers or any company other than Delta Cable/EastLink.
Their own service guys even say this is as good as it gets with EastLink and all I can do is ask for bill credits. I spent 45minutes on the phone with customer service to straighten out my bill, she puts me on hold and after a few minutes I get disconnected. Did she call me back? Nope! I had no transaction number, no agent info, and I was in the midst of negotiating a sweet arrangement for credits and PVR/Cable Box Upgrades. I had no record of the conversation, and no time to spend going through the process again. I hate Eastlink.
