They have a horrible product that stops working not once but several times. I purchased a Netgear WNR2000-200NAB almost February 2011. By March of 2012 it stopped working. After hours on the phone several times prior to that for other issues I had with it, they tried fixing it only after they informed me it had a limited warranty and it had expired. They offered me a 14 month warranty extension for technical support if I paid 129.00. I paid as I felt backed up against a wall without support for this garbage that I purchased. The agreement was to mail back the broken router. I packed the broken one in the box that the new one came in and we inadvertently through it out with the recyclable garbage. So now I get a bill for the unreturned broken router which I failed to return for 120.00. I called customer service...NOTHING! Not even "we'll cut the bill in half..nothing" So I called the corporate office...best they would do after a half hour of being on the phone was to reimburse me the support money of 129.00 but they would still charge my credit card the 120.00 for the unreturned broken router. UGH! Terrible customer service ...after all I was being honest with them and what was I going to do with a broken router?? Here is the clincher...the VERY NEXT DAY after telling me they will reimburse me the support (so now I would have no support if the new router breaks) ..guess what THE NEW ROUTER happened to STOP WORKING!! In my opinion this could not be a coincidence. After reading all the negative feedback about NETGEAR they probably sent a signal to stop the internet connection. I am going with FIOS and returning the second broken router. I told them..thanks for zapping the router..I am fighting it with my credit card and not paying the 120.00 for the 1st broken router and I am returning this broken one. They could keep their garbage. Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!
